"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Thanks, I have cleaned it up a bit... I got some bad info on submission from a friend. Though I have been told if you put screenshots in Scraps and admit to them being screenshots it is alright. Do you know if this is true?
my guess would be not. you can swith deviations back and forth from being scraps or deviations, really the only difference is that a scrap doesn't show in your main gallery, and in the normal browsing options. so my guess is that the same rules apply

FAQ #157: Can I use things created by other people in my submissions?
unfortunately this also means no screenshots from copyrighted games. I do wish I could post up all my pnwage scores from counter-strike to show off.
